Review summary

Enjoyed every day on and off ship. Crew was great, food plentiful, entertainment (ship band’s & vocalist) enjoyable.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Blu was good but some nights there was nothing that appealed to me/group. However, we were allowed to order off Main dining room menu. Murano meal was perfection and wait staff were excellent. Sushi on 5 was very good, but service was rushed. Everything we ordered was brought out basically at the same time. It would have been more enjoyable if it were spaced out. Quine was fun and food was good. But once experienced, it’s something I would not do again. Tuscan was very good and would go again.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool was very crowed (sold out cruise), but was able to find chairs. Silent disco was a blast. Main theatre shows were just ok. Went on first and second night and didn’t go after that. Casino was very tight, at least for me!! Thermal beds in spa were very relaxing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good musicians and vocalist.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every crew member greeted you with a smile. Our room steward was wonderful. The bartenders, pool staff, waiters, and others work so hard to make your cruise special.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean. Was worried that being in the most forward cabin, I would feel motion. That wasn’t the case. I was also concerned about an obstructed view from the bridge. There was a bit of an obstruction to our left when in port, but it was no deal breaker. I would stay in the cabin again.

Ship tip

It’s not a huge ship, so easy to get around.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Took the train. The train swayed a lot. The dancers on the train were entertaining. Saw the entire island.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

4 out of 5
Walked around this port. Found the local farmers market and loved seeing all the different fruits, vegetables, and trinkets that the locals were selling. The locals we encountered were friendly.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Did an excursion to a Carlisle Bay. Excursion included 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and one drink per person. Really enjoyed the beautiful sand beach. Food and beverages were available.

Castries, St. Lucia

Did a catamaran to the Pitons. It was raining and foggy. Overall, it was a nice day.

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
Walked around the shops in the port area and had some beverages at local establishments. Very friendly locals.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Used luggage delivery service directly from ship to airport. The cost was $29 per person…so worth it!! Used face recognition in customs. Off ship in less than 10 minutes. Only delay was getting behind people dragging their own luggage.
