We had a nice and relaxing trip. The ship was very clean and the crew was extremely friendly! Make the most of you vacation and try something new. We got out of our comfort zone by exploring Cozumel on our own. There's not a lot of kid's activities or water slides, but there's plenty to do. As always do your research. If your looking for water slides and go carts, this isn't for you. If you want to relax and enjoy shows, and do low impact activities definitely do this trip.

Food and Dining

Food and service in the MDR was excellent! The variety of food in the buffet area was great, but quality was hit or miss. If you go for breakfast, I recommend you visit "The Doctor" at the omelet station and he'll write you a "prescription". You choose the ingredients and they make the omelet to order. I had smoked salmon, asparagus, spinach, feta and swiss every morning.
Silhouette Restaurant

We greatly enjoyed the MDR! The food was fantastic and service phenomenal! Tasha was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Oceanview Café and Bar

As I stated, the food was hit or miss. I kind of expect that from a buffet. Some food was excellent, some just okay. Nothing was terrible. I highly recommend the omelet station for breakfast.
Martini Bar & Crush
5 out of 5
Our group met at the Martini Bar every night before dinner. We enjoyed a variety of speciality martinis. I recommend either the pomegranate or banana split martinis! Our cocktail waiter was Ivan. He always found me, no matter what venue I was in.
Le Petit Chef at Qsine

The overall experience was fantastic and most of the food was great, however, the bouillabaisse was overcooked. Since it was the first course, it was a bit disappointing. The rest of the meal was great and I do highly recommend the experience!
Mast Grill and Bar

The food was excellent! I ordered a hot dog, Turkey burger and fries
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were plenty of activities available, but we found ourselves just wanting to relax. We were with a large group that had private functions as well and some of them were at the same times as ship sponsored events.
Solarium
5 out of 5
A great space to relax and enjoy an adults only experience. The solarium is air conditioned, the pool was warmed to "just right", the hot tubs were nice, but a bit shallow.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We only made it to the ship's production stage shows. They were all fantastic! The singers were very talented and the acrobatic performers were wonderful as well.
Card Room
5 out of 5
It was a great place to gather with friends made onboard to enjoy a friendly game or two.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was top notch throughout the ship! Tasha took care of us in the MDR. She always greeted us by name and with a smile. She remembered our preferences and allergies even had a vegetarian menu ready to give to a guest in the group who was vegan and had margarine on the table for one who couldn't have dairy. I have a nut allergy and when she gave me my menu, she would point out the selections to avoid.
Everywhere I went, when I passed a crew member, be they officer, waiter or bathroom attendant, they would smile and say "good morning" or "good afternoon".
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Crew was always mopping or swiffering the floors and wiping down surfaces. I wake up early, so I would walk around the ship. I always saw crew cleaning, vacuuming and dusting.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin 1128 is spacious. Murine was our steward. He was extremely friendly and kept the cabin well!
Ship tip
You get what you give. If you want to keep busy, there's plenty to do. If you want to relax, don't run from event to event. Instead, choose to participate in a few activities.
Reserve a spot for the glass blowing online before you sail. You may save some money.
We did the Choccoben Mayan ruins and authentic Mayan lunch. We booked through Shore Trips and used local guides. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the ruins as well as the local plant life. He explained what they used various plants for. Then we went to a village of descendants of the Mayan people. They taught us how to make tortillas by hand. We made tortillas then were treated to a meal consisting of authentic Mayan food. It was delicious as well as informative.
There's plenty to do here if you look, you can find almost anything you'd like. We rented a car and drove around t ge e island. We got lost looking for the Mayan temple. Tip: all the big temples are on the mainland. The temple here was about 8 feet high and maybe 10'X10'. We stopped and took pictures along the road. We are at Coconuts. It's a locals bar on the cliffs on the Eastern side of the island. The atmosphere was fun, the drinks big and strong and the food delicious! Prices were reasonable. They were doing construction in town so it was a bit confusing get back to the port, but the locals were friendly and directed us.
The facial recognition software made this process so smooth. My only disappointment was that it was confusing where to pick up the shuttle to transfer to the airport. We were told 3 different things by 3 different people. Maybe some signage differentiating where to go for taxis, hotel shuttles or airport shuttles.
