Review summary

Might do this again when we are in our 80’s or older.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Use the app and make sure you check in as soon as you can with the app and embarkation will be amazing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food is good but the entree choices could be better

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Activities are perfect for the senior crowd on board. If you like to sit around and read a book, this cruise is for you. Average age of cruisers has to be right at 80 years old. Cruise director is the lowest energy director I have ever seen.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Entertainment is below average at best. The constantly begged the crowed for applause.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Not a ship for children.

Ship tip

Perfect if you are looking to spend a lot of money to have a nice place to sit around and read.

Ports of call

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Our favorite of the ABC islands. Perfect place to snorkel or dive.

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Love this island. You can’t go wrong with a trip to Key West.

Oranjestad, Aruba

3 out of 5
Best think to do would be Togo over to one of the nice resorts and spend the day in that area.

Willemstad, Curacao

4 out of 5
Nice island and recommend something on or in the water.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

I've never been on a cruise with exclusively one age group. You exaggerate.

You are really not fond of the elderly. They’re people too and have earned the right to travel and have a good time just like anyone else. Cruising allows the elderly to travel in nice accommodations, eat good food, see nice places, and enjoy the ease of not having to take several flights and change hotels. I work with the elderly. I enjoy hearing their stories and learning from them. I’m 38 years old. Have some respect. Life is what you make of it.

I've been on the Equinox to the ABC islands and didn't encounter any of these issues. I love the Equinox and I am far from 80!

It must have been the destination that attracted 80+ aged persons, because I have never been on a cruise that had that age group on it!
