Enjoyable cruise w/ great Irish music. Great food.
Embarkation

We were booked in a suite with priority embarkation. We were very disappointed with this process. We went to a dedicated suite check-in line but after checking in, we were sent to a very small room with very little seating and lots of other people. We waited quite a long time crammed in with more people than the room should have held before we were allowed to board the ship. Once onboard, there was no direction given as to where we could go for lunch until we found someone to ask.

We ate in the main dining room once, the buffet twice for lunch and the rest of the time we ate in the private suite restaurant, Luminae. We thought the food was excellent. However, the main dining room was so loud it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation so we ate most of our meals in the private suite dining room.
Onboard Activities

Because we were onboard for the Irish music cruise, we didn't participate in the regular ship activities. We did enjoy the lawn for some quiet reading time.

We went to all the special Irish music events which were excellent.

The waiters in the private suite dining room were excellent and quickly learned our preferences. Our butler went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. And the private concierge was very helpful too.
Ship Quality

The Equinox is a beautiful ship. A little confusing to get around until you have time to explore but very nicely decorated.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was very large and well appointed for comfort. The room attendant kept everything very clean and tidy.
