1st time cruising Celebrity and would not be my last. There are some slight negative feedbacks in my review but the amazing pros certainly outweigh those. So happy I chose this cruise line and look forward to many more celebrity cruises in the near future.

Food was good but felt jipped on the high quality ingredients. Parmesan Reggiano was used very very sparsely and was lacking on Italian themed buffet day...,HUGE thumbs down for that, also felt that the themed buffets were missing major items that are the #1 food item when that region comes to mind. Items listed as truffles or containing truffles had barley and I mean barley any truffle taste, as if it was cooked in a pan that once contained food prepared with truffels. The Casio e pepe in Tuscan grill also lacked flavor, they were extremely stingy with the Pecornia Romano and Casia de Roma and FRESH black pepper was not used. My family loved the food however with me being a world traveler and major foodie I can tell when real ingredients are not used and used sparsely..
Onboard Activities

Pool and spa area were awesome. Was extremely disappointed in the perfume and cosmetics boutique. For a premium cruise line I expected more higher end cosmetics. Was looking for Bond #9 And Tom Ford but was shown Calvin Klein and Polo. Would have loved to have been able to purchase Kiehls, Sugar, La Mer or Shu Uemera instead of Lancome and Clinique.

Would have loved more options, felt the theater and celeberty central were not used as much as they could. There was an amazing cabernet in the afternoon 1 day and would have loved to have had more afternoon shows. The movies being played in celebrity central are on Netflix and would have loved some afternoon options as well as more than 1 movie per day. Absolutely loved the live band in the foyer every evening.

Extremely rude sales woman in perfume boutique, would not even acknowledge my presence and seemed bothered when asked a simple question, a sales clerk doing a customer makeover had to assist me...rude woman was tall with long brown hair, and was the rudest sales person I have ever meet in any store on land or sea. Extremely shocked that a person with no social skills is allowed to work in an environment that demands such. Genteman in duty free store was not familiar with US customs and declarations, when asked if I am allowed only 2 cartoons of cigarettes and alcohol, which is the norm at airports for international travel he seemed confused. Took almost 5 minutes to get an answer for an extremely easy question. Room steward and main dinning server Jefferson were amazing beyond words. The staff in care bacio were great and Georgi the main sever for the tables always greeted me by name and took my ever changing orders quickly. My brother commented that the staff of mast bar would see him sit and would greet him by name and immediately make his drink that he always ordered without even having to say anything,

Cabin / Stateroom

Everything about the cabin was great including housekeeping, but the reasson why its not 5 stars is the sofa. The material looked cheap and was awkward when laying on while watching tv wearing "summer clothing" since it is vinyl, however all solstice ships are being remodeled with what looks like fabric sofas so this problem will be corrected.
