Review summary

We really enjoy cruising and had a great time. We can't say anything negative about our cruise. Since this was our first cruise with Celebrity we didn't really know what to expect. It was very relaxing however I wished there was a little more upbeat music on the pool/sunbathing decks.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived really early however being a Select member we were able to board early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Did not feel there was enough variety of activities going on in comparison to other cruises we have done. We really enjoyed the Silent Disco.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were awesome. There was 2 comedy nights, would have liked to have maybe had another musical show instead of one of the comedy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward- Wayen was great and kept our room spotless. Reggie & Yong (assistant) were outstanding. We were fortunate to have them for 2 evenings and they did an amazing job and went over and above even helping out with surround tables that were not theirs. Melena did a great job however she did not have much support from her assistant and was overworked I felt like but she is very nice and personable and did a great job. I also have to point out a couple staff- I didn't remember their names - but there were 2 different women bathroom attendance who had the best personality and did an over the top job keeping the bathrooms clean.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
everything was very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was our first Celebrity cruise but have always done inside cabin rooms. This was by far the biggest room we have ever had. It was very nice and comfortable.

Ship tip

Don't expect a "party" atmosphere, this was a very laid back, relaxing cruise.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

We did not do an excursion. We stayed the night before cruise in South Beach which was super nice. In the past we have stayed close to the Biscayne Bay shopping area and it is super fun place to visit.

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
This makes about the 4th time we visited Key West so was not super excited about it however we did go visit Ft. Zachary Taylor and beach area there and went to the Southern Most Point and did some shopping. It isn't a beach kind of place if you are looking for that kind of port.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the Beach Pass which included the Chocolate, Tequila, Birds, Snorkeling plus the pool area and we LOVED it!!!! Super fun little place. Although it isn't authenic as I have read it was built for the cruises to port, it minded me of a little private island so it was nice not to have a huge big crowd (just the people from our ship) Maybe we were fortunate since we were the other ship there that day.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins excursion. It was a very long day but glad we did it. It is a one and done it kind of thing but amazing to see one of the seven wonders up close and personal. Our tour guide (Luis) did an amazing job. We were sort of in a rush to get back to the ship so did not have any time to do any shopping or really see Cozumel.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We took a taxi to the Seven Mile Beach. The beach is amazing - super soft white sand and the water was crystal clear! Everyone in Grand Cayman is super nice an friendly and helpful
