Review summary

This cruise was very enjoyable, ship great and staff excellent.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The Embarkation was excellent as we were doing a back to back cruise and the staff of the ship took us out through security to be able to check back in, and were could do this before all the other people checking in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
You could not fault the food and drink on this ship.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I used the Fitness centre most mornings, and it was huge and no waiting for machines. Done an Archery contest, and went to most of the Trivia games. Very hard to get a deck chair by the pool mid morning as guests save them for all day use.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows, the singers and dancers put on in the Theater were top class and the costumes magnificent. The other shows put on by conedians etc were also good.

Children's Programs

We had no children with us on this cruise

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and the staff were the best we have experienced of any of our cruises. Customer relations attend to complaints immediately, all other staff are excellent in their given positions, and are willing to help with anything with a smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I like the lay out of this ship (it is a Solstice design) and feels like a home away from home. It is well maintained and kept spotless. One downside is they put cabins above and below the disco that goes into early hours of the morning, so warning to other light sleepers, check you don't have one of these cabins !!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The overall size is great, cleanliness was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The only downside is it is below the Quarsar disco that goes well into the early hours. If you are a light sleeper do not select any of the cabins above or below this as you do hear the boom, boom, boom of the music, even through ear plugs !!

Ship tip

It is a great Ship as it is a Solstice design ship and feels homely. We especially liked the Cafe Al Bacio for our morning and evening coffee fix.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
Very busy, they have a lot of sport festivals and traffic is bad, it took an hour from ship to Miami Beach which is usually a 15 minute trip.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
This port we done a tour of the Old and the New San Juan. Went to see some underground tunnels used in the war to protect the city.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
We done a snorkeling and beach excursion here that was good.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
This port we done a Boss underwater excursion where we rode scooters underwater with big helmets to see tropical fish.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Did not visit port

Weather was too rough to be able to tender to the port.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We had a tour by boat to Blue Lagoon Island, where we could swim, watch the dolphins and sea lions, and this provided lunch as well.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This experience was excellent, Celebrity offers a Valet service for your luggage, so instead of collecting it from the pier, they take it the night before, and check you into your flights home, supply you with your boarding pass and your luggage arrives at your home airport on the plane with you. Makes the disembarkation much more enjoyable. We done an excursion with airport drop off as our flights were later in the afternoon.

Sounds great. Did you had the same stateroom for your b2b? If you did could you leave everything unpacked?
