Review summary

Great staff, great service. I think our only complaint would be the lack of seating in the pool area. We had to get up early morning to secure a seat on at sea days, and you don't want to have to get up early on vacation. There was a lot of chair saving. One person would get up, save 10 or more seats, then leave w/o using for several hours. This might need to be monitored more closely. It was difficult to get a beverage on our first day at sea. My husband brought this to the bar manager's attention, and the problem was remedied the next day at sea. All in all, our complaints are few. We did not enjoy the islands as we have some, but overall enjoyed our 8 days, and will sail with Celebrity again.

We went to the 9:00 show every evening, and every show was excellant and so professional.

Big shout out to Singh in the Qyasar bar, Jimmy, our pool bar waiter, and Herman, our before dinner beverage waiter. They were all fast friendly, and efficient. Our dinner waiter, Gilbert, and assistant waiter, Billy were top notch. I just can't say enough about these two. Our room stewart was also excellant, and the entire staff was the friendliest we have ever encountered.

Get Smart!! You can ask the pool monitor to remove items from chairs empty for 30 mins or more. OR... put the stuff on the floor after a half hour of no occupancy and move the chair. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! It took me a number of cruises before I had the nerve to do this, but I paid the same (or more) than the chair hogs! We LOVE the Equinox! Gonna be there again in September!!
