Not only was this the best cruise ever, it was the most relaxing as well in that there were two occasions where I went out on my balcony and took a snooze in the lounger. I never did that before.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
One of the quickest ever. Possibly due to our suite selection but within minutes of arriving at the check-in area we were escorted to Michaels Pub where we were served sparkling wine just before Luminae was ready to serve lunch.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
My wife and I had access to Luminae for B - L - D and it was among the best. We had reservations for Tuscan Grille on Monday evening and Murano on Wednesday evening and I can't say enough for those two venues.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There was always something going on but my wife and I had our own schedule of things to do. But two activities in particular were fun to watch and both were competitions from the guest vs the ships officers - particularly the water volleyball game. The officers were in uniform except for their shoes/socks in the pool.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service and staff is impecable; from the Specialty restaurants to Cafe al Bacio.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The Equinox is a beautiful ship and it is attended to daily.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip
To get the best rate & perks, book one year in advance. Two of the four ammenities I favored was the ultimate drink package and a $300 room credit. And when you book a suite, you have access to Luminae and Michaels where drinks are complimentary.
We arrived in Miami the night before our cruise and had reservations at the Intercontinental. And our Biscayne Bay view room gave us a great view of all of the ships lined up on Saturday morning. Additionally, we watched a fireworks display that went on for a good 10 minutes or more.
Not as big as Aruba and took less time to tour the city center on our own. Walk the Queen Emma Bridge if you can, otherwise take the free ferry. On the return to the ship, walk along the top of the old fort.
Bonaire is interesting in that for such a small city center which you can cover on foot in about a half an hour, it's really a large island - looking at it from the ship.
