Embarkation

The embarkation area was very welcoming - cold towels, water and drinks. The process was smooth and hardly took five minutes. Our pictures were clicked, seapass was issued and we were all set to board the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was huge with excellent decor. Their white glove service was great and the food was awesome. Although, we would have preferred some more variety in the menu. We went to Blue speciality restaurant for breakfast. Excellent experience there as well. Their Ocean View Cafe was our favorite as it offers diverse cusines and gave an opportunity to try something new every time. Caution : You may gain significant weight afterwards.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the Pools - clean and well organized with bar tenders in attendance.

The Spa

We had our massage at the Spa. The rooms are nice and clean and the massage was good but very expensive. Will avoid next time.

Children's Programs

The Kids Club is excellent. Very committed and caring staff. They keep the kids engaged throughout with hobby classes, painting, cake decorations and Camping on the deck. Kids loved and it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Fransisco, our steward was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. He gave us a tour of the room on arrival and informed about various activities that we should try. The waiters are are welcoming, well trained and courtious. We never had a bad experience from them on the ship.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We were upgraded to an Aqua class cabin. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The bedding, toiletries and linen were of high quality.

Ship tip

The Internet pakage was very expensive. We figured that you need it only on the sea days. When near the shore, your roaming works and there are cost effective options available from other providers. Secondly, there beverage packages per person are very expensive and a waste as you don't use them fully.

We took a cab to Paradise resort. It has an awesome private beach with umbrellas and lounges, clean change rooms and excellent food, free wifi and water sports. They charged $3pp for the use of these facilities with a minimum spending of $15 on food. We loved it.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We took a shuttle to the Seven miles Beach. Although it was very crowded, it was just awesome. The sea was calm and welcoming. We spent hours in the water. However, we realized it would have been better to get a day pass of a Hotel and use their private beach similar to what we did in Cosumel.
