Review summary

Wonderful 10 days. Great food, ports of call, entertainment, service, rest and relaxation. Looking forward to taking this cruise again in the next 12 months.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy. We opted for the airport transfer from the cruise line. Unfortunately it took 2.5 hours from the time we landed until we arrived at the cruise port. Just standing around waiting and then once the bus came we stopped to drop off passengers for a Royal Caribbean ship. Then when we arrived at our ship we had to stay on the bus for the driver to off load luggage and get in position to get his tips! Most of us had already been waiting for 2.5 hours so after a bit a passenger opened the door and we got off the bus. Probably would find my own way to the airport next time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We always book an Aqua Class room and enjoy eating breakfast and dinner in Blu. Great food and service. Ocean View Café is also a great place for buffet style breakfast and lunch. Love the pasta and pizza station.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We like going to the sauna's in the Persian Garden. Not crowded and very relaxing. We always managed to get a chair by the outside pools and even around the solarium indoor pool when we wanted to be in there. DJ provided great music and dance lessons by the pool. Volleyball games are always entertaining, especially when they are Guests vs Crew. Nightly dancing in the foyer was also fun. Enjoyed watching the archery matches too!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
DJ was very good. Pool music was fun. Loved the singers and dancing the foyer each evening. Enjoyed the comedians. We especially enjoyed Greg London. Great entertainer and got everyone in the audience up and dancing along.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I don't believe the staff and service you experience on a Celebrity cruise can be beat. Staff always pleasant, helpful, and they enjoy interacting with the guests.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is very well maintained. Tables immediately cleaned in all food venues. Ship is always neat and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We love Aqua Class. Cabin is large and balcony is nice size. Canpes delivered every afternoon along with difference flavored iced tea. Love the corner shower with the sliding glass doors.

Went to 7 mile beach (actually it's smaller). Nice beach

Oranjestad, Aruba

We did an ATV tour to the Natural Bridge and Natural Pool. We booked this independent of the cruise. We needed the dip in the Natural Pool to get the dust off!

Willemstad, Curacao

We took a taxi to the aquarium and snorkeled with the stingrays, tarpan, etc and feed sharkes and turtles Ocean Encounters. Great experience.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Took a tour of the island and then went to a resort to swim and snorkel. Make sure you do some snorkeling in Bonaire. Best snorkeling we have ever done. Most fish and most diverse fish we have ever seen snorkeling. Fantastic.

Falmouth, Jamaica

Took a shuttle to Red Stripe Beach. Nice little beach. Chairs for rental and water was so warm. No venders on the beach so it was peaceful and relaxing. Of course we had a Red Stripe Beer.

Disembarkation

Very easy. Celebrity offered a Valet Assist Program (nominal fee) so we opted to have our luggage taken the night before disembarkation and never saw it until we arrived at our home airport.
