Review summary

cruised with group of 8 adults and 7 children from ages 11-18. Overall as first cruise was nice time. Ship was clean, staff courteous and food good. Felt rushed getting on and off at various ports, jury still out of we would do another cruise....unless you are in port for more than 6-8 hrs.

Embarkation

Fine other than we had to wait 20 min for a key to be printed for one of our rooms. They had one but needed the one for our son. Did not get pics taken and had to return to do so.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was crowded with many rude guests who don't know how to patiently wait in line. Staff was fine and food was good. Favorite restaurant was Sillouette. Martini bar was good but service was slow, need to be mindful of guests waiting and not spend so much time entertaining leaving guests waiting to order

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools are way too small for number of guests.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Enjoyed comedians the best. Rich was also great. Other bands and staff were good as well.

Children's Programs

Kids not interested because of various age groups and they would not let 11 yr olds be with older group

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rooms 8266-8278-Berri was the best room steward, always looked after us, our kids and rooms. Checked on us and always willing to help. Sillouette Restaurant - Table 274 - Sakhile (waiter) was always attentive to our table of 8 and also our children's table of 7. Helped provided recommendations and delightful to be around. Adriana (asst waiter) also very attentive and kept table free of dirty dishes and drinks filled. Jaiwant (sommelier) provided excellent wine selections every night for both white and red. He was very knowledgable and kept our glasses full.

Ship Quality

Very nice and clean ship

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean, nice and roomy. Beds were comfortable and we were able to open balcony to all five rooms to enjoy family.

Ship tip

Great food, large nice rooms, friendly staff

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Only in and out of this port. No excursions

Key West, Florida

Nice port and easy access. Enjoyed biking through town.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Dirty and run down. Clearly only cruises make this area thrive. Wouldn't go back again if ship was stopping at this port.

Cozumel, Mexico

Nice area, friendly people. Went snorkeling and was nice but just on other side of ship which was a bit disappointing.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Amazing and wished we would have been in port for 2 days. Went on private excursion to starfish beach, snorkeling and stingrays. Beautiful island with delightful people. Only issue was not at port long enough and tender to get in/back took away time we could spend on island.

Disembarkation

Agree. Other itineraries offer different ports/times. Good size group. Nobody was wowed by the cruise experience?

You might like Bermuda then. They stay 2 days but you have 4 sea days.
