Review summary
I was originally excited about going on Celebrity because it was my first time using this cruise line and I was under the impression this was a good cruise line. I guess one of my biggest reason I did not enjoy it was it was boring. Some people may like this kinda of ship but I did not. My wife and I are not party animals by any means and we do not drink. This was mostly an older crowd. While I don't like wild party boats I do enjoy seeing people letting loose a little and having fun. The ship (equinox ) was very rocky. By this I mean you could feel every wave. I had read some other people had said the same thing but did not take them seriously . I should have listened because my wife got very sea sick and she has never had that problem before. We have been on 6 cruises and it has never been an issue but a lot of people were getting sea sick on this boat. The food was decent and the rooms were nice. The shows were okay also. My wife and I booked a specialty restaurant one night at $45 each which we do at least once or twice on every cruise. However at there restaurant they wanted to charge me $15 extra on top of my $45 I already paid for a larger steak. This has never happened on any other ship !! I would have understood if I was in the regular dinning room and they wanted to charge me extra for a large steak, but in a specialty restaurant where they are already charging us $45 each ?? That left a real bad taste in my mouth. So again some people might like this ship but it was not for me and my wife, we will not be cruising on Celebrity again
