Review summary
The Celebrity Equinox ship is fabulous - the finishes are lovely. The ship is very well cared for. There are many venues (bars, restaurants, relaxation areas, etc) and all are well appointed. The pool area is quite large with comfortable lounge chairs and bar/food service.
The actually crossing - at sea - was our favorite part of the cruise. We enjoyed the down time as well as the opportunity to participate in many varied activities. The guest lecturers were very interesting professionals. The entertainment was excellent - from "broadway" type shows to jugglers & musicians.
Our favorite port of call was Tenerife. This island has beautiful views and many nice beaches and a good variety of landscape. The island is clean and well developed. Our least favorite port of call was Agadir - we have toured Morocco in the past and found the country interesting, safe and full of history - a real jewel. However, Agadir was not at all interesting......it is safe but was reduced to ruins by an earthquake in 1960.
We would recommend this itinerary to others.

Ship tip
There is a lot to do on board the Equinox - so much that you almost need a vacation from your vacation! Go to the 7 PM show in the theater and make 8 PM dinner reservations. The shows are 45 minutes, so you have time to make both! Then after dinner you can enjoy other activities on board.
