Review summary
Celebrity booked our flights with Delta. A few weeks before the trip we checked on these reservations and all was well. However, the night before as we tried to get boarding passes we encountered 2 1/2 hours of frustration. First of all, Delta said there was no reservation for Jacki. I had to call Celebrity and confirm there was one. Then,Jacki's name was mispelled, and the Delta agent had to try to remedy that error. The Celebrity agent said that they could not change the spelling as they had already changed it once before, and that we should go to the airport early and "beg" them to change it. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR FOR A CELEBRITY AGENT.
When we got on the ship, I went to the Guest Relations desk, told them of our frustration. The clerk did her best to make sure all would be well when we took the flights home.
The day before we left as we attempted to print our boarding passes, the same thing happened as it did when we started. LaToya at Guest Relations spent one hour 45 minutes working to remedy the situation. She did the best she could, working past her shift. But the point is there never should have been a problem in the first place. We have been loyal Celebrity customers for about 25 cruises and are very disheartened that this would happen, not once, but twice in one trip.
We believe compensation is in order.
