Review summary

Back to royal carribean next cruise. I assumed that celebrity would be an upgrade to RC. Had a better time on Anthem ots.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Eden was fantastic as was our sommelier in the mdr. Otherwise service was slow. Buffet was ok at best and terrible on dawes glacier day, with no cups, glasses, plates or seats available shortly afterthe ship turned to leave the arm. Other venues were closed at that time, except spa food spot which only has a few tables. Blu is good but wife is a snoopy eater and prefers not fancy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Used the wonderful spa facilities as an aqua class guest. Was a good perk.

Entertainment

Wish i could give 10 stars here.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Great room steward! Lost the pic of my waiter in eden (his name 😩) he was fantastic! Mostly friendly staff otherwise.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Hand washing was almost non existent at the buffet by guests and not as encouraged like on royal Caribbean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the extra space given by the infinite veranda. The shower was worth the extra cost.

Sorry; but you weren't explicit as to why you preferred RC ats to Celebrity Eden. Can you expand please? I'd be interested.

Yeah, I'm quite sure they completely ran out of plates and cups. I can understand seating is limited at busy times, but I NEVER have been on a cruise where there was no plates or cups. Just because your level of cruising is nearly impossible for any cruise line to achieve, doesn't mean you can exaggerate a situation. Overall, maybe cruising isn't for and you should stick with land based resorts until you can appreciate cruising more for what is offered for your money.
