The Celebrity Edge cruise was an outstanding experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was world class. Dining in all restaurants was great. The staff was very good in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. The briefings given by the embarked Great Barrier Reef Pilot were particularly informative.

Embarkation in Sydney was very easy; the overseas terminal is a short walk from the train and the process was very quick.

This was our 4th Celebrity cruise and as always the food in the main dining rooms and oceanview cafe was ourstanding. Unlike the smaller class which have one main dining room, Edge had four with slightly different specialities.

The facilities on Edge were great. The Thermal Suite was spacious and very relaxing.
Entertainment

The ship's entertainment was outstanding. Will Martin, a famous New Zealand artist, performed several times including a standing room only matinee.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was spacious. We particularly liked the infinity veranda which added several feet to the cabin.
There are several great excursions to take advantage of in Cairns. Green Island and the Glass Bottom Boat excursion and the Skyrail were outstanding tours.
The discussion with the Willis Island staff as we were cruising past was very interesting and informative. They are performing a very important mission for Queensland.
We are looking forward to sailing with Celebrity soon. Will be our first time. Hope our experience is close to as good as yours! Thank you for the great review.
