Review summary

As I mentioned earlier this was our 107th cruise overall. Without naming other cruise lines I will share things we have found on other lines that Celebrity should consider. On sea days there are are a lot of cruisers sitting (and drinking) in the martini bar. Why not have someone playing the piano or guitar or strings during the early afternoon?

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
This was our 107th cruise. Many of them have been with Celebrity. The cruise was exceptional with the ports of call and the ship’s condition and with the excursions. Specialty restaurants were excellent. The only slight negative were the four rotating restaurants. We felt the quality and preparation of several of the meals were not up to Celebrity’s usual standards.

Thoroughly enjoyed the solarium!

Entertainment

These were some of the best shows we’ve witnessed. Our party thoroughly enjoyed ALL of the shows. The bands in the martini bar were outstanding, especially the female band.

Dining - we had several memorable servers. In 9ne restaurant we remember Oky and Linda as a great team. Our bartender in the martini bar was Kodak. If you can you should duplicate him and put him on every one of your vessels.

Oranjestad, Aruba

We took a ship sponsored excursion and enjoyed a tour of the island. It was entertaining and interesting.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Perhaps our favorite island of the three. Shopping was reasonable and we were not pressured. Lunch at Karel’s on the water was superb. People very friendly. Our favorite stop on the trip.

Willemstad, Curacao

We’ve been here before and in our opinion this is the least interesting Island of the three.

Panama Canal Transit

Loved going through the locks.

Colon, Panama Did not visit port

Not enough time

Cartagena, Colombia

Another ship sponsored excursion. We did Hop-on, Hop-off. We chose to stay on because of the heat and the pressure filled environment of locals selling their wares. Sights were great. Got some nice pictures.
