Traveling on a reduced capacity ship may have spoiled me for life. Staff and crew were exceptional, though sometimes wished they would be a little more strict with rules. A beautiful boat with comfortable rooms. Food was on par or a little better than most shops, and lots of dining options. Well worth the trip.

Selection of food was good. Main dining room service was great, but sometimes food temperature was lacking - cappuccinos in dining were consistently cold. Additionally, ordering the same drink (old fashioned) would result in vastly different products across the restaurants and bars. Bartenders at Eden were far and beyond the best on the ship and should be commended, other bars struggled.
Onboard Activities

Activities were sometimes purposely driven in an uncomfortable borderline inappropriate direction. Know your audience. Mask enforcement was very lax in games, many times with massless passengers allowed to share a microphone.

Hard to entertain to a sparse crowd. The Aretha Franklin tribute was exceptional!

I don’t have kids, but still the programs looked super fun, particularly the STEM at Sea!

The toll Covid has taken on staff was noticeable. But the staff worked INCREDIBLY hard to ensure our experience was nothing but top notch. The only issue we had was with some casino staff not enforcing mask wearing at the tables.

The ship was VERY clean. The extra effort into cleanliness was noticed and appreciated. The ship itself was a little “ordinary” with typical shops and restaurants. The hot tubs looked like they were worn out and needed maintenance, with chips and cracks that made them appear dirty.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the design of the balcony with the window that opens or closes! Makes the room seem so much bigger! Room itself was great, needed a little bit more attention to details. Hooks on the wall in the room would have added considerable to the storage/organization availability. The bathroom was adequate, though the design of the toilet paper holder was such that it would come off A LOT, and you would have to fish around in the floor to get it. Our cabin steward, Valentin, was top notch and always available and willing to help. He raised the level of the on ship experience for us.
Ship tip
Take advantage of the beautiful open areas to relax and read a book. Eden is a tucked away gem for groups to get together and enjoy a top notch drink.
Did not like the lack of Covid protocols by locals, specifically taxis that wouldn’t go unless they were packed with people. Beaches were nothing spectacular, and prices were extremely high.
Easy and quick. Did NOT like that the porter wouldn’t take our bags where we wanted. He dropped them all off by ride share, and we needed them up by the drop off area to catch a van.
