Review summary

Seven day Caribbean cruise on new ship still has a few kinks to iron out. From a leaky shower (fixed during the cruise) to very disorganized shore excursions at the first port to a maître d who didn’t stop by our table until it was pointed out to him to a very disappointing balcony furniture, it wasn’t a perfect cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
With the app downloaded, selfie picture taken and information entered prior to embarkation, check in was done in less than 5 minutes! From drop off to being on-board was about 10 minutes. And the room was ready before noonce

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Celebrity is known for its wonderful food and this cruise proved to be no exception.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do from an innovative walking/jogging circuit to indoor and outdoor pools, to indoor trivia games, silent disco and such there is something for everyone

Entertainment

4 out of 5
A good variety of comedians, musicians and shows

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Celebrity is renowned for its staff. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and valued

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
An innovative design. Appeals to many but not as many quiet places to simply read or relax indoors. On rainy days the limited indoor space becomes very crowded

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This S3 sky suit is right underneath the Magic Carpet and twice a day the grinding noise heralds its movement up and down. The suit itself is a good size but with very ackward closets with not much storage. The shower leaked and the staff retrofitted a screen to divert water back into the combo shower/tub. On the balcony there were only 2 chairs and a small coffee table. No recliner seats, no table.
