Review summary

I had dreamed of the cruise to Alaska for 5 years. It was worth the wait. Everything about celebrity is spot on, dare I say perfect. I could not have asked for anything more. Every inch of the ship, every meal, every crew member were top notch. It has something for everyone. I feel very blessed to have had this experience. Thank you Celebrity!!!!

Food and Dining

Dev and Vira our waitstaff were absolutely wonderful. They were fun and so kind. The staff of the buffets were so friendly and the specialty restaurants were wonderful. Mel at the petite chef, our chef and sommelier at Matros were absolutely wonderful. We wine tasted with our Sommelier 3 times, he is french and I never could get his name right. Please let them all know how much we enjoyed them! Dimon at Michael's club and John the concierge were extraordinary. There were so man other people who touched us, I wish I could remember all of their names. Your crew is absolutely wonderful. Even the hosts at our main dinning room made us feel like old friends. WOW!

The chef gave me the lobster recipe which I could never recreate but its a great memory of one of the best meals I ever had. The Sommelier made it a night to remember.

We came in tired and hungry after a long day on shore and they made us feel like we had just sat down to my momma's table, but with much better food. LOL! They were sweet and kind!

The bar tenders always remembered our names and made the most awesome mango daiquiri.

It felt like home. I enjoyed every moment.

Ship tip

Get a Suite. It is so worth the extra cost for a big beautiful room with a balcony, especially when sailing Alaska, so much to watch as you sail by.

Thank you John at Michael's club for getting us off and even running out to help me when my bag fell. I get tears in my eyes thinking of how kind, sincere and wonderful he was to us the entire trip and we made our 10:15 flight thanks to him.
