First time on a Celebrity cruise. Really enjoyed the ship. Will not go back to South America, did not enjoy the ports. Stay was great, food pretty good. Entertainment could have been better,

Not much of a wait at all

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Liked to variety of food at buffet for breakfast and lunch. After 15 nights the dinner menu was a little boring, same items severed several times. Wish there was another food option up on deck by the pool, just hamburger or hot dog.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Disappointed in evening shows, and lack of movies during the day on sea days

All of the music on the ship was too LOUD. When we asked the DJ if he could turn music down one night by the martini bar he was rude.

Service and Staff

Everyone works really hard to please.

Ship Quality

Liked location of stairs near elevators, layout was easy to follow, never felt lost on ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was very nice, just enough storage for 2 people for 15 nights. Only issue was the balcony was right over the top of deck 5 smoking area (Port) side. Will make sure not to book this area again.

Ship tip

Check out the smoking areas before booking your room, avoid deck 6 port side balcony as smoking section right below.

Ports of call

Coquimbo (La Serena), Chile

Industrial port, nothing to see or do, could not find an excursion other than city tour so we did not do excursion,

Callao (Lima), Peru

Had the excursion from hell, traffic is crazy, felt liked we were going to be killed several times. Private tour for 8 turned into public tour for 12, did not feel very safe. Again another industrial port.

Manta, Ecuador

Another industrial port, did a city tour. Guide did not know anything, did not take us to places we wanted to go. Not a good stop

Another Industrial port, very disappointed that port changed a week before sale. We did have a nice excursion to rain forest and tram ride.

Huatulco, Mexico

Finally a regular port. Loved that you could walk to beach, shops, restaurants.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Have been here many times so did not book excursion. Don't like the fact that you looks at Walmart and Sam's if you stay on the ship.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Enjoyed the tender ride and then took a water taxi to The Office for drinks. Fun day

San Diego, California

Fun city, lots to do. Close to airport, etc.
