All in all a brilliant experience. First cruise and first trip to America. Lots of super memories to take home with us.
Embarkation

Embarkation went very smoothly. We boarded the ship via a short queue and in no time at all were relaxing on board with a G and T in our hands
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
This was our first cruise and we were really impressed with the quality of the food on board. Our evening meal in the dining room was very good and the staff were extremely accommodating and always eager to make sure that you had a wonderful dining experience. The Ocean View cafe had an extremely wide and varied menu and there was always something to eat. The pizzas in particular were delicious and my husband really enjoyed the Indian cuisine. At busy times we did often struggle to find a table to accommodate our party of four and I feel it would be helpful if there was someone on hand to help with the seating at busy times.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We particularly enjoyed the lectures on Forensic Science with Dr Hal Tinberg and in complete contrast the silent disco which was great fun.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The Beatles tribute act was excellent, as was the comedian who was extremely funny. Not so keen on the ships own shows although the cast did put their heart and soul into them. Just not my cup of tea.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our waiter in the dining room was Jeronimo, ably assisted by Anthony and the sommelier Dino who i must admit reminded us of Brains off Thunderbirds, extremely witty and funny.
Jeronimo and Anthony worked well together and anticipated our every need, showing great concern if we were unable to finish a dish and offering alternative choices. Jeronimo in particular was very knowledgeable about
the evening menu and always gave us a run down on the latest dishes.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ships design was good and the cleanliness could not be faulted.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was compact but ideal. Loved the bathroom which had everything we needed and good storage space. The bed was comfortable, with a turn down service each night and chocolate on your pillow.
Towels were changed twice a day and clean beach towels were provided each evening for the following day.
So pleased we had a balcony as it was lovely to sometimes just sit outside and relax.
Ship tip
Choose a room with a balcony and close to the lifts also nearer the front of the ship. we were on deck 8 which was perfect. Don't forget to try breakfast in the restaurant, it is much more relaxing and everything is cooked freshly for you.
Wow what do i say about Miami it was 'jumping'. Turns out it was Spring break, so all the young and beautiful people were here. Including our party of four of course. Very busy, lots of loud music, fantastic assortment of cars to see ranging from Lamborghinis, to Ferraris, Porsches etc Lots of people posing, though some of the girls clothes left a lot to be desired. Good fun to watch everybody and see the sights. Glad we did the Everglades tour and Sawgrass shopping Mall.
I loved St Maarten. Our brilliant tour guide was the Mailman and he was fab. Loved our trip to the beach. It was perfect although the toilet facilities left a lot to be desired - make sure you have antibac hand wash with you.
