was helpful for our diets in the mornings.

we had detox, energy boost....etc drinks to curb our appetite.

the selection in the oceanview buffet was enough that we did not eat in a real

Excellent Experience by somanycruises

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was our 8th cruise and 1st on Celebrity. We found the food, entertainment and ship above expectations. The dining staff was especially memorable.  Alister, Jailani and Carmen were knowledgeable, entertaining and professional and made our dinners very enjoyable. The ship was clean and we loved the therapy pool. We chose this cruise because of the ports and were very pleased with them.

Becoming Elite has increased our enjoyment of Celebrity by drrand

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Favorite part, now that we are Elite, captains club perks are all great.  Tandy is a great hostess.  Nightly shows, lower quality over the years.  I would recommend Celebrity to friends, in fact we are taking another couple with us on our next cruise (Alaska).

1st Cruise by isaiahclark

Thought the ports were breathtaking and that the cruise itself was very nice overall. Fantastic service, great food and fun entertainment. My wife and I will most definitely be going on another cruise in the future with Celebrity.

Wonderful staff, accommodations and itinerary! by cmbrowni

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe

This was our second Celebrity cruise. We were very pleased with the service, food, and ship appearance.  The ports if call were great albeit never long enough.  The only suggestion for improvement is to add more educational material about the countries and cities that we visited.  There were two excellent speakers on this cruise but they were only given 4 hours of program time over 11 days.

Got what we paid for. by lanak0288

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe

This was a rather reasonably priced cruise but its ports of call were great (except it canceled the Istanbul stop which required me to fly there independently). Some of the sidetrips were good - some not worth the money.  The food was good and the people onboard were great.  We hated asking for a drink of water and expecting  a glass of water and getting charged $8 for bottles so we then watched our purchases much more closely, which probably cost the be oat a lot more than they made on our water.  Sometimes small things make you draw a line in the sand.  The entertainment was so so with the exception of a young couple who played Irish music in a bar and the aerial people.

Great time at amazing ports with a great ship by glenweinzimer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe

Definitely recommend the cruise, highlight was renting a private Catamarran on the Amalfi coast and avoiding the ship run excursions which are way too expensive and way to crowded and geared to an older, slower crowd with mediocre food when applicable. Doing your excursions privately, hiring a car is the way to go.

Tired by reg4uny

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We are not at all displeased with our cruise experience. The staff, and in particular the butler Wilfred and Sineed, were terrific.

The food @ the restaurants was especially good and again the staff and service was impeccable. Vladimir @ ocean liners could not have been more accommodating and Elmer in the Tuscan grille was very knowledgeable and could not do enough for us.

The condition of the ship was the only drawback that we were not pleased about.

The boards beneath the sliders was ready to fall off, there were paint chips all around the hot tub, and the counter in the bathroom had a large piece broken off it. As I understand it you're planning an upgrade for the ship, that's good. Six of us had dinner with the Captain and he was a most charming and interesting gentleman.

Thanx

George Kelly and Diane Whitten.

Our Favorite Port was Salerno. We chartered a Catamaran and toured the Amalfi Coast down to the Isle of Capri and back.  All other ports were enjoyable.

Dalmation Cruise by Cruiser15761254

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

We had a wonderful time on this cruise.  The ship staff was great, very friendly, eager to help and always cheerful.  The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the dining room was lovely.  Our only disappointment was the lack of activities other than the pool for the general populace.  The sport deck was busy with athletes and the one ping pong table was constantly in use.   The pools were fine, and we did manage to use them several times.  The Cruise Director was fantastic and the entertainment was thoroughly enjoyable.  We really loved the orchestra and the production group.  This was a great cruise.

Celebrity Constellation is a nice size and comfortable cruise ship, with good service and excellent cuisine. A good selection of interesting 'Ports of call' with some new places to explore.

Thank you to all the crew onboard the Constellation.

Excellent Choice by tmpettigrass

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The entire cruise was a most enjoyable experience, expecially, the Ports of Call, and Celebrity excursions.  The downside to this review was the excursion in Florence which did not include going onto the Ponti Vecchio bridge (shops), nor did it include visiting any of the structures in the piazza such as the Santa della Croce church, burial place of Michaelangelo, etc.  The tour was hurried and concentrated too much on shopping, which would have been alrignt, had it included the above referenced sights!

This was our first cruise. The Celebrity Constellation is a wonder ship with very nice and efficient crew in all aspects of service. The ship is comfortable, clean, modern and the food and service is top notch.

We would wholeheartedly promote Celebrity for anyone wanting a very good cruising experience.

Celebrity needs to make some improvements. by charlieandemieg

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The itinerary was the best part of the cruise - loved the ports in Slovenia - most of our tour guides were informative which made the sightseeing enjoyable.  Our cabin was very nice - we had a balcony which we enjoyed since the weather was always warm and sunny.  The food was a disappointment - there was variety but many times was tough and not very tasty.  With the desserts, there were the same 3 items served every night and just 2 new and different choices.  Our 2 waiters. Freddy and Arthur were excellent.  Most of the nightly shows were good, especially the 2 aerialists.

We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony most mornings.  Our cabin attendant was very courteous and efficient. The movies on the tv and under the stars included several movies for children.

A good value and some very good ports of call by gmadriss

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The staff on the ship was very attentive and helpful.  The food was tasty.  The stateroom was  a  bit small and there was an awkward step to the bathroom.  There was an abundance of activities for every taste. While there were hand cleaners before entering  the dining room they should also be placed at the stairwell.  They try to encourage you to use their trip services but you can easily use other sources. Having an overnight in Malta was a big plus.  Overall I would give the cruise a strong "B".

Nice but slightly tired by Cruiser67056161

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

A stay in Barcelona the evening before deoarture is recommended.

Ship was nice but dated in places - looking a little tired compared to other shops but nothing too bad.

Hotel stay in Venice at the end was a good idea but the hotel was appalling. We complained but got nowhere so a disappointing end.

Constellation, Barcelona to Venice by JohnChely

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Itinerary rich.  We could have actually have used some more sea days to give us a chance to catch our breath.  Fabulous guides in Cannes, Rome, and Salerno with ship's tours.  Disappointed in Luminae - mostly tables for two, and no interaction with our fellow guests.  We wound up returning to the main dining room, and enjoyed it thoroughly.  Combined with the doubling of Celebrity's suite pricing, we probably will only book regular cabins from now on.  We understand that Celebrity is getting ready to make some major dining changes, including removing the always exquisite Ocean Liners from the Constellation.  That will be a shame.
