Review summary

A great shop for all ages. Plenty to do and a lovely mix of people.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Our flights were quite late in the day (though arranged by Celebrity) and by the time we got to the ship they were only taking one item of baggage per person to cabins. On board we were sent straight to our muster station. We were told the wrong deck and then there was no one at our station to check us in. Many people still carrying their own luggage were upset!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Spent our entire cruise in Blu Restaurant and the food was always wonderful, with plenty of choice. Sommelier Lyn was so helpful and passionate. All the wine was excellent. Huge range of cocktails all over the ship and all requests catered for. A brilliant step up after p&o where only 3 cocktails were available on package in each bar.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Always plenty going on, even on shore days. A wide range of interests is catered for at all hours.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Only occasional disappointing guests but most of an extremely high quality. On board cast were strong and wonderful musicians all over the ship

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Extremely friendly and helpful. Clear passion for their roles and we have made many friends among the crew. Cruise Director Sue has no rival on the 4 lines we've travelled with. She does a spectacular job

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Old but beautiful and well maintained. Easy to find your way around and there always seems to be so much space. Plenty of venues to sit in throughout the day and we still haven't found a routine after 8 days. There's so much wonderful choice.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Sky obscured by deck 10 overhang but this was perfect for my red-haired husband, who didn't want direct sunlight on the balcony. Always quiet and very little wear and tear. Floor to ceiling mirror at the foot of the bed is a bit disconcerting!
