Review summary

This was the first trans-atlantic cruise for us. It was a great experience, the food was great, the crew was great(from the wait staff, cabin crew to the officers) the entertainment was great. The ship was well maintained and this is a credit to the Captain. We have taken several cruises to the Caribbean for shorter time periods and this ship and crew measures with the best.

There of course were small blips, such as a pipe breaking but that type of thing is unpreventable.

We loved the production numbers and all but one of the featured entertainers were very good.

Our Maitre'd, Hugo was the best we have had on any cruise. He introduced himself and checked every night to make sure everything was going well. Our waiter, Peter was courteous, professional and always attentive. He was excellent and he and the asst waiter, Ashraf worked well together.

What we expected and the service was good. Our only disappointment was the afternoon snack, banana chips and small touches of salsa do not equal the small finger snacks we were use to on previous trips. Our cabin attendant was unbelievable. We could be gone a half hour and our room was made up. He greeted us in the morning and wished us a good evening every night. He always had a smile.
