Review summary

We were very well cared for. We were a little disappointed that we didn't recieve more information about the ports we sailed into ie... how much to expect to pay for a taxi, public transportation, where to catch it.

Service and Staff

Every request was quickly follwed up.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship had just come out of dry dock and wasn't ready to sail. Many people around us were upset which makes it a little harder to have an overall good experience.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were upgraded because our room wasn't ready so were extremely happy.

Ports of call

Lisbon, Portugal

Wonderful. However, was given wrong info by crew members as disembarking ship. Found our own way.
Don't Miss: Shopping was good, monument to the discovers was good.

Vigo, Spain

Not so great that we were there on a sunday. But we found our way around and had a wonderful time at the local restaurants that were open. Wonderful people. We got the impression before leaving ship that we wouldn't like it. I suggest not getting off the ship too early, maybe around noon after all the venders come out and restaurants are open.
Don't Miss: The area of restaurants on the hill just above the ship. Try the sardines!

Le Havre (Paris), France

Went to Normandy and was very moved, we were there on D Day! The lunch at the old farm house was a special treat.

Malaga, Spain

Needed to know that Spain is the place to buy cigars. The prices are so much cheaper there than anywhere else in Europe. Try the choc co latte which is unique to Spain.

Cadiz (Seville), Spain

5 out of 5
Beautiful city with much to do, see the cathedral. They were filming a movie, which was fun to see. Watch out for the women fortune tellers who grab your hand.

Pros: The staff

Cons: The entertainment
