Cruise was very relaxing. Our Aqua Class cabin was near the back of the ship, so we got out steps in. All the staff we passed in the hall greeted us.
The food was good, plentiful and there was lots of variety.
Security was visible but unobtrusive. The officers were friendly and always around to offer assistance or directions if needed. Some even got in the pool and played several rounds of volleyball with the guests!
The Celebrity Edge is one of the better ships we have sailed.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The four main dining rooms were beautiful and the food was very good but predictable. We ate at one specialty restaurant. My husband really enjoyed his steak. As a vegetarian, I had a salad, and mushroom risotto - both were pretty good. I enjoyed the buffets the most. There was lots of variety and plenty of vegetarian options - from fruit offerings and muesli at breakfast, to the huge salad bar and the Asian, Italian and Indian buffets at lunch and dinner, there was something for everyone!
Onboard Activities

I enjoyed the walking/jogging track around the ship - especially the slanted uphill.
The spa was delightful and soothing. I wish there had been a jacuzzi that I wouldn't have to share with a dozen people.
Service and Staff

TRI, our room steward was the best! Very friendly. He left us his number in case we needed anything. Our room was always prepared for us when we returned. I only had to request ice once - it was always there for us.
FATOU, was very pleasant and helpful
FELICE - my husband called her "the icecream girl" was so cheerful and pleasant.
Wilmer, MJ and Razak "Zak" were at the "Blu" restaurant were my husband and I ate regularly. MJ and Zak served us. They were friendly and went out of their way to make our dining experience pleasant. Wilmer, the maitre d' and Nathy the hostess greeted us every evening at the Blu.
JANINE made sure to either greet us as we came into the buffet with hand sanitizer and a friendly smile OR to offer us a "have a good day" as we left.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
When we first walked into the cabin my husband exclaimed "It's so small!!" And he wanted the couch to be by the balcony. But we got used to the cabin and it was not as small as it first looked. I really like the balcony. When we kept the folding doors opened, it made the room seem larger. The cabin was clean when we arrived and TRI kept it that way.
Ship tip
Be sure to take the time to explore the ship - the WHOLE ship! We missed a couple venues until the last couple days of the cruise.
