The ship and cruise was very good, except for not being able to use the Solarium.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Process was efficient. Liked the luggage cabin drop-off policy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Not all of the 4 main dining rooms are of equal quality. The OV was very good.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Solarium pool was over run by gay men each day. They were being vulgar by referring to feeling each other up. They were cuddling back-to-front, who know what they were doing under the water. They must have been part of a organized gay cruise because they where more obnoxious than normal.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Production shows were excellent. Headliners (except for the hypnotist) were excellent also.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
With the 4 main dining rooms the service was excellent to good. Without having the same waiters each time we couldn't depend on excellent service. The Cruise Director should have been more focused on giving guests information, particularly port information, than having everyone scream.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship's public restrooms were very clean, the cleanest we have ever experienced. Liked having hand washing sinks at the entrances of the OV.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Interior cabin was larger than what we had experienced before.
This was the first part of back-to-back cruises. Transition to next cruise was smooth and efficient. We didn't need all the documents that we were told to bring.
Interesting you say more obnoxious than normal ? You find all gay people obnoxious when normal , just not as much ? Homophobia is real . Makes me question you’re review of the solarium and I’m a straight male .Thank you 😊for your unbiased review
Sadly, these are the times we live in where some people, no matter their sexuality or age, think it’s cool to show inappropriate PDA. Hopefully the 2nd part of your back to back cruise was better than the first.
