Review summary

This trip was so magical I can’t even describe it!

Embarkation

Very quick, very smooth, and got on the ship about an hour and a half prior to our boarding time which was a welcome surprise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Every single venue we tried here was amazing. From the Oceanview Cafe’s wide variety of cuisines and late night snacks to the upscale elegance of Le Voyage, there is truly no finer set of restaurants at sea. Eden was particularly amazing and offered excellent views and service along with food that delighted us with its creativity and freshness.

Eden Restaurant

5 out of 5

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this dinner was from top to bottom. Our entire travel party agreed that if we could do it all over again, we would have eaten here every single night. The food was outstanding and the menu presented us with so many options we had a hard time choosing what we wanted to eat. Service was prompt, informative, and white glove without feeling pretentious or forced. Our waiter, Jesse, was a rockstar in every sense. You truly cannot go wrong!

Normandie Restaurant

5 out of 5

For an included restaurant, you cannot get much better than this. The service had me convinced that I was dining at a very nice restaurant on land, the French inspired cuisine was excellent, and the pacing was prompt without feeling rushed.

Le Grande Bistro

3 out of 5

This was the only dining experience on the ship we felt “meh” about. While Le Petit Chef was a fun experience, the food that was served felt comparable (and in some cases worse) to what was being served in the main dining room. If you are traveling with kids, they will love this; but our table of adults were left wanting for the quality of service and food we had experienced everywhere else.

Fine Cut Steakhouse

5 out of 5

This was steak and service designed to wow. The first dinner we had on board, we were sold on sailing Celebrity after eating here. Complimentary rolls were great, the sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful, our server was effortless in his attention to detail and we left absolutely stuffed. Worth every penny.

Eden Bar

5 out of 5

Extremely good service. My mother and I had a bottle of wine we loved in Eden Restaurant the night before that wasn’t on the Bar’s list, and they bent over backwards to locate and serve it to us!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Best activities team at sea and it’s not even close! We loved all the crafting, the dance classes, the trivia, and the archery at sea which we had never seen before. Special shoutout to the ABBA sing along party where I got pulled on stage, which made my whole cruise special. We really felt like celebrities everywhere we went! The main pools are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We particularly liked the solarium. The musicians on board did a lovely job and every single headliner was AMAZING. Very personal experience too, as we saw them everywhere and they were so kind in speaking with us.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We ended up in the main theatre every night and were consistently impressed with the variety and quality of the programming. Don’t miss Liar’s Club! We have been joking about it for months post-cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Best crew at sea. Every waiter, housekeeper, steward, bartender, DJ, performer, entertainment staff, engineer and officer deserves to know they were absolutely fantastic. I loved them so much I wrote a letter to the President of the company to say so! Extra kudos to Captain Leo, Cruise Director Alexa, and Activities Member Gui because they made our trip so very special

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Modern, sleek, and spotlessly clean, this vessel is truly beyond expectations. We had no difficulty navigating to different venues across the ship (even me, who is famously poor at directions) and everything seemed spacious and well-maintained. You could have told me I was sailing her on the first week and I would have believed it with the condition everything is in.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great view of the ocean out of the panoramic window, comfortable beds even on the sofa, and lots of storage. We were wowed when the four of us could unpack and move around comfortably. Bathroom is large compared to other lines and well appointed. The only thing we could have used were a few more outlets.

Ship tip

Chat with the crew and really get to know them. They will remember you and your preferences and deliver excellent service every time. Go see Gui and the entertainment team!

Ports of call

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Our favorite of the ABC islands, we explored Hato Caves which we had never done before and got to enjoy Mambo beach along with them on our excursion. Great day!

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Packed with shopping and activities near the port, we don’t bother with shore excursions in Aruba. Beautiful scenery, just make sure to bring a hat and sunscreen: there is very little shade here.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

3 out of 5
Bonaire is a fine port, but lacks any real facilities near the ship dock and while the snorkeling was great I would only do an excursion here and not solo-snorkeling. The Samur Snorkel and Beach Break staff was excellent and we had so much fun! Pretty strong rum punch, be careful 😂

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Disembarkation

Smooth, no fuss, at our leisure departure.
