Review summary

We have sailed on all the mainstream lines, and numerous times with Celebrity. I had seen videos of thie ship and was expecting a lot-well, it certainly delivered. There were a ton of activities, and except for sea day afternoon, did not feel crowded. There were so many decor touches which I had not seen before. The rooftop garden has live plants. I do think the specialty restaurants were expensive but one need not eat in them to enjoy excellent food.We already are thinking about another sailing on this ship.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
we were able to board quickly once at the ship, but the parking garage we were directed to was not near our ship. had to take a shuttle bus from the garage, which was hard to find.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining rooms were 4 smaller ones, each different decor but all very attractive. Food was excellent. We did dine one night in the Prime steakhouse which was outstanding-food and service. Buffet had so many choices and changed every day. Food there was also excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
main pool one could actually swim in, (before became crowded late morning). There was also an indoor pool. Ample chaises. Fitness center was OK, with cardio machines facing the water

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Production shows were the most imaginative I have ever seen. Other shows: hypnotist/comedian was a riot, and other comic was also funny. There was a late night comedy show, which is not common except on Carnival

Children's Programs

did not have any children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Our dining room waiter could not do enough for us .

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Absolutely stunning ship, with novel touches all around. Everything was clean and staff were observed vacuuming, polishing and painting.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size and layout of the cabin was excellent. More than enough drawer and storage space. The balconies on this class of ship are what is termed "Infinity" cabins. While some reviewers liked them less than traditional balconies, my wife and I didn't mind the difference. I would slightly prefer traditional balcony but it is not a big deal.

Ship tip

Be ready for a classy experience. We have been on over 2 dozens cruises and this ship goes to the top of the list.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

3 out of 5
We live in Florida and drove here. Not fair for me to rate it as we did nothing but eat dinner there night before and drive to the pier.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We did not do an excursion, instead spent time at the beach. Water was calm, clear, sand soft and not rocky or having shells hurting your feet at some other beaches. More than ample chaises and a welcome touch was the many umbrellas at the chaises.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
We had been here numerous times on prior sailings. We just walked around town and my wife bought some items.

Bimini, Bahamas

3 out of 5
we took shuttle around part of the island, and which stopped at some hotel beaches. I do not think there is much to do here, unless you go to the beach.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We self-disembarked. Couldn't have been easier.
