20 mins from arriving at terminal before setting foot on board, despite delay in ESTA confusion. Top tip : UK visitors (like us) need to present a printed copy of your ESTA despite not requiring this print out to enter the US !

Food and Dining

Really enjoyed the relative intimacy of the smaller dining rooms (Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Notmandie) rather than the enormous main dining on multiple levels. Food was for the most part excellent.
Eden restaurant was our only specialty. Outstanding service and food. We were encouraged to order extra dishes as the portions were fairly modest but we felt still good value for money.
Main buffet was a real hit - best we’ve ever tried on any cruise. Food choices were outstanding and the dining areas are better divided to feel less chaotic, even at busy times.
Not always as easy as before to find a drinks waiter to order - if you really want a drink as you start your meal I’d recommend picking one up at the bar on your way in.
Onboard Activities

Shows were v good. Some of the on board musicians were so so but on the whole we enjoyed them.
I thought some of the activities were not as good as other cruises- seemed a bit limited.

Always extremely good on Celebrity but once again without exception the staff really made you feel like they wanted you to have a great experience.
Captain Kate is highly visible and understandably very popular.

Beautiful! Exceeded our expectations. Stunning art, lovely feeling of space. The creation of the departure lounge area when disembarking at port is a huge improvement.
Restrooms were kept immaculately clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Good storage. Great bathroom, best we’ve ever had with v large shower cubicle.
We were interested in the virtual balcony concept since we’d read conflicting reports but we loved it!
It’s more private than a typical balcony and the only drawback is you can’t have the balcony open with AC on as others have said. Enjoyed the socket provision in cabin for US and UK plugs
Ship tip
Take your time to explore as many of the new features this ship has to offer. E especially loved Eden , and the martini bar at cocktail hour.
