This was by and far the worst cruise we have ever been on. We were between the superstructure that raised and lowered the magic carpet. At night the noise we believed that was coming form those supports was horrendous. We literally could not sleep for more than 10-15 at a time at night. We were in a retreat suite and complained to our butler and the hotel manager. They both heard the noise and agreed it was unacceptable. Finally on the fifth day we were moved to a different suite, on a different floor and no where near the magic carpet. So, even though the ship was brand new and beautiful, our butler was great, but, getting little to no sleep for the first 5 days ruined our trip.

Wow…..sour grapes it seems. We loved the MC sky suite. I hope this poster finds the perfection they are looking for. At 70, I enjoy every moment on any cruise….and we’ve even on 40+…we love Celebrity

Thanks for sharing. Sorry your trip wasn't all it could have been. We sailed Beyond in November and had a great time. But we weren't by the Magic Carpet.

You’d think they might put someone in those cabins and activate the magic carpet to determine if the noise might be a problem. I’m sure you’re not the first to complain. Thanks for sharing! Sorry you were disappointed.

We always do that, but never expected the boat itself to be the culprit. A little noise is expected, not not all that mess.

It’s always important to check the deck plans when choosing a cabin, and see what is above, below, and near your cabin, that could cause noise.
