This was a good cruise on a lovely ship. All crew was friendly and always said thank you a number of times. Senior staff was very visible including the captain. We enjoyed the entertainment director (Tim).
Embarkation

We had a noon check in, but our hotel had a 10:15 and 12:00 shuttle so we took the 10:15 as to not miss our noon check in. We fully expected to wait a while. As we were waiting in our seats a woman called out that we would be taken in sections to board. We were in a section that was way down the line. The next thing I knew barriers were taken down and everyone headed to the gangway. We were on by about 11:00. It worked out well for us, but it was nothing like we were told it would be 😃

Overall the food was good. Nothing will be memorable though. We ate at 3 speciality restaurants, and knowing what I know I would probably just stick with included restaurants. The best speciality in my opinion was Rooftop Grill.
Onboard Activities

Game shows in the Club, walking track, main theatre. All were OK. The comedian was quite good. Wish there had been karaoke, and Newlywed Game (old school I know) 😃

Our room steward was very good (Abdual). He always spoke and had a lovely warm smile. He always asked what he could do for us - which was nothing because he was ALWAYS doing it,

This was a beautiful room for us. We have been on many Caribbean cruises, so I was going for the ship and the room. This was an aft traditional balcony. Loved it! Large room, great bathroom, and large balcony with 2 chairs, a table and 2 lounge chairs. Fabulous view of the middle of the wake. You could hear Eden a little, but we still fell asleep quickly. Those very light sleeps may want to bring ear plugs.
We had our large bags taken the night before. Went for breakfast at 6:00. Back to the room to pick up carry on. Off the ship by 8:20 and on n to ship arranged ride to the airport. Overall fairly seamless.
