Review summary

Was not wow-ed by my Celebrity Apex experience. It is actually making me contemplate cancelling our cruise on the Beyond later this year. The new class of ships did NOT live up to the hype.

The best entertainment was one night performance by Claire Maiden. The rest of the performances were sub par, and options limited each night. Eden entertainment started way to late.

This ship did not have a good flow. The solarium was a passageway to the buffet from the 14th floor front elevators vs. quiet and tranquil. The elevators were hidden and not accessible (sometimes had to go through the casino to get to the elevators as it was blocked on the other side). Eden was difficult to locate and only one way in/out.

Wont do another Christmas Cruise and pay a premium. Cruise was packed.

Docked in Belize City. Most excursions were cancelled due to rain. Belize City itself was not very nice :-(

Cozumel, Mexico

Miss the port being in downtown Cozumel. Taxi needed to get anywhere, and the navigation for the exit terminal wound through all of the vendor stalls.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman was awesome, but the amount of time in port was too little considering it is a tender port. 10-4:15 was not enough time.
