Celebrity Apex is a beautiful ship and delivers the Celebrity experience you know. Food and service are outstanding. You will enjoy no matter the ports of call.

Embarkation

Once inside terminal only stopped a few times for documents to be rechecked. Extremely fast embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
If you cruise Celebrity you know the food and service are excellent and Apex is no different. Main dining is amazing. I ate at Le Petit Chef and was a cool experience. Everyone ate at same time so it was almost like being at a show. Fun seeing others reactions. Buffet always had something to offer. The ice cream stand made fresh made waffle cones right there. Good pizza for a quick bite. Craft Social is new addition and had very good beer selection and some small bites.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Love the size of the pools on this class of ship. Plenty of space to find a chair and get some sun. This class of ships also features a unique track that spans two decks to give you a better workout.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The performers were extremely talented. Show were of the musical review variety. Always seemed like music was being performed somewhere on ship during day.

Children's Programs

No children this time.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Terrific staff! Everyone you walked by greeted you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is spotless! I liked the layout and size of ship. Does not feel as big as she is in reality. Everything seemed like a short walk to get to. The design feels more like a boutique hotel.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good location near elevators. Nicely designed with plenty of places to charge items. Really like the charging box that has a few places to plug in phone or laptop and then you can store cables inside. Thoughtful feature. Shower was larger than normal for a regular cabin. Note there is storage on the corner of the closet as it wraps around towards the bathroom. Looks like there is just a shelf there but it does open with plenty of shelves inside.

Ship tip

Try Le Petit Chef.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Fort Lauderdale is a perfect place to depart from in the US. Nice place to come in a day or two early with plenty to do.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

Was waiting for rain to clear to go explore and never did.

Belize City, Belize

Not much in the port area. Must do an excursions for this port stop. There are a few shops and bars inside port but once you leave you are bothered by people selling tours. Also this is a tender port.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Been a few times and like this stop. We did a beach club excursion on our own this time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Did walk off and was at FLL and through security very quickly. They have facial recognition at the port that speeds things up now.
