Vista is fun and busy, exactly what one imagines for a summer cruise. Lots of music, drinks, burgers, ice cream, kids, waterslides, PATIENCE. Let go a little, don't try to be first and have a good time

Had Faster to Fun, worth every penny.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dining rooms take a little longer but so worth it over buffet
Steakhouse was phenomenal.
Buffets constantly busy, but clean, sometimes hard to find a table if you have more than 2 people in your group. Not as flavorful in the buffet it seems, bland to probably please many palates.
Asian and Italian specialty restaurants are free for lunch and great!
Deli and pizza were delicious.
Onboard Activities

Pools are busy but fun, fitness center clean with many machines, Pool contests super fun to watch, bingo, deal or no deal fun as well.

Club Ocean is fun for the kids, however we had a five year old and she was clumped together with the age group 2-5 which is a big difference. She went one time and was miserable, most were 2 and 3 years old in diapers not potty trained and here she is going into kindergarten. Not a good pairing of having things in common, 2 years versus 5 years old.
Service and Staff

All were nice but cruising is so busy right now that the long days seem to wear on even the nicest of staff. Gotta give them a break.

Spa cabin was clean and quiet.
Ship tip
Carnival Vista is a good time, very kid friendly, so very busy. This is NOT a luxury, slow going, quiet cruise so don't book unless you like music, kids and overall fun, loud partying on the pool deck people!
Beautiful area but very limited on food and non alcoholic drinks for kids etc. If you are not one of the first groups there then you will not get a chair or umbrella, so bring towels and sunscreen to enjoy the beaches. It becomes very busy quickly.
Again, priority seems to be the way to go, we were off by 7:30. However, I did see people lining up at 7am when regular disembarkation wasn't starting until 8am.
