This was a cruise we desperately needed. We relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it.
Embarkation

Listen, be patient and everything will be ok. We had no issues and got on during our check in time. It’s a lot of work to move that many people safely onto the ship. Some folks get too crazy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse was amazing. We usually eat there once or twice a cruise. Main dining was hit or miss and we actually enjoyed the buffets. Only place we did not care for was Ji Ji Kitchen. Food was not pleasant and service was subpar.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Enjoyed the fitness center and especially had fun on the Sky ride.
Entertainment

Performers were excellent. We thought Flick was one of the best shows we have seen on a Carnival cruise. Really talented people. We enjoyed the comedy shows as always.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was amazing! John always had ice in our bucket everyday, and kept our towel animals coming. Overall service on the ship was excellent!
Ship Quality

The Vista was pretty clean and we like the layout.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was awesome! Air conditioner was the best we’ve ever had. We really enjoyed being close to the spa.
Ship tip
The Vista is a great ship. Try not to get upset if there is line, turn and find somewhere else to go and enjoy. If you like to lounge at the lido deck, get there early, and you’ll have no worries.
One of our favorite ports. We went to Chogogo Resort. We paid $25 each for a day pass. What a beautiful resort. It has a lazy river throughout the property. The beach is amazing! They have three restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.
We arrived late (1:00 pm) so we decided to make a reservation for dinner at a seaside restaurant. It was amazing and we had the best view of the sunset. On the ride back to the ship, the strip seemed very commercial and busy. Not our style but still enjoyed it.
