The average age of Americans is 38.5. So yes, I'd expect about half of the people to be over 40. I'm also over 40 but luckily am very immature.

Wow! It's pretty normal to have a wait-time between when you need to be out of your cabin (so that staff can clean & prepare for the next group of cruisers) and when you can disembark (NOT determined by Carnivalor anyoneon the ship). It isn't Carnival's "fault" that you had 5 kids, it's your responsibility to know that there will be a wait and keep YOUR kiddos entertained!
