We enjoyed our 7 days of relaxation on the Vista with lots of dining and entertainment options!
Embarkation

We enjoyed the staggered check-in times which prevented congestion. We were checked in and on the ship in less than 2 hours.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
There were lots of options which was nice. Also, we liked the anytime dining option. Our server, Shirak, made each visit special. Even on anytime dining, she remembered our names.

Nice variety.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We took advantage of anytime dining and was concerned about having a different server each evening. This was not the case
We we're seated at the same table each night and had an excellent team of servers.
Our lead server, Shirak, made each visit special. She was very friendly and even on anytime dining, she remembered our names. I will definitely look for her on our next cruise
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the ease of getting from Fwd to Aft without having to walk thru a smoke-filled casino. The ship was exceptionally clean.
As big fans of the ship spas though, we were disappointed with the layout of the Vista's spa and probably would refrain from booking again due to the congested area and chlorine-filled whirlpool in the same room as the heated loungers.
Cabin / Stateroom

Beautiful decor
Ship tip
Skip deck 14 due to this deck having only two elevators. If you do stay on 14, be prepared to walk down to deck 12 for an elevator.
Disembarkation was chaotic and the staff didn't seem to enforce zones as they were called. Guests were crowded in front of elevators and along stairs. Also, we noted that only 4 of the 6 elevators were in use which further created issues . This resulted in a 45 minute wait for an elevator. To secure an elevator, our party of five, along with an elderly couple, literally pleased with an employee to allow us into an elevator being used to transport laundry! After making numerous trips to load laundry carts, he finally relented and allowed us to ride with him. Of our 10 cruises, this one ranks as the worse, most disorganized disembarkation. We will have platinum status on our next cruise so hopefully, priority disembarkation will help us avoid such congestion.
Even Platinum/Diamond disembarkation can be a mess. We were on this same cruise. It never fails - an argument usually happens during debark for us. This time it was targeted at us. Two Karens started yelling at us accusing us of breaking in line, which we weren’t. We were waiting for the end of the line to come around so we could get in. It was awful and very disturbing, as we were only trying to do the right thing. In OCT on this Vista cruise people on both sides of us during debark started arguing - I thought punches were about to be thrown! They just tell you which dining room to meet in but they don’t explain which way the line will go when it starts. No organization.
