We had some friends with us so we really had a good time. Everything went smoothly and had a blast. We will probably book our next cruise soon and will probably be on the Vista.

Overall the food was good. The buffet is decent. Not always great but rarely can we not find something good and their selection of dessert is always good. First time we have used the dining room as our primary dinner location in a while. We were very pleased and enjoyed the breakfast brunch on sea days as well. Guy’s Burgers is always a favorite. Just can’t go wrong there. The Asian place is very good at lunch and free at lunch. My favorite bar is always the Red Frog Pub and Brewery! Just love that place!
Onboard Activities

Have a very nice gym on this ship which we force ourselves to use after all the food we consume on a cruise. Even though I am old I love the water slide still and a little time in the pool.
Entertainment

The entertainment is good maybe not great. Lots of cruises with Carnival and they use the same shows in theater. Need some new ones I think. There is so much entertainment that you can always find something. The iMaxx Theater is great. They had the new Top Gun movie.
Service and Staff

I think Carnival must have a good training program. We had great service from our stewards dining room staff and just in general all over the ship. Kudos to them.
Ship Quality

This actually my favorite ship of the ones we have been on. I love the decor and layout of this ship. It’s about 7 years old now though and is showing some of the wear. They do decent job of keeping everything clean but it’s got some rust. Hope can dry dock her and give her a lift in near future.
Our favorite port. There’s a nice beach in walking distance or a gondola to take you if walking is a problem. Plenty of food and drink by the beach. Just found out on this trip that there’s great snorkeling. There is a small pier and people usually just swim around the end and nothing really there. But if you go out 30 yards or so straight out you get to a reef! It’s awesome at least for someone who hasn’t seen anything like that. Great port.
