Review summary

We had a blast. Although our port of call has changed from Ocho Ríos to Falmouth, and port times were shortened, we made the best of it and had an amazing time. The entire staff was wonderful. We were spoiled the entire time on the ship.

We hung out ALOT at Havana. They have live band mostly every night “Sabrosura Peru” and they have a crowd going every night. Lots of fun with Latin music. During the day they have karaoke

This room is in a weird place in the ship map. It’s a ocean view room, it has two windows! Last room down the hall of 1st floor.

Ship tip

Serenity is always packed on sea days! If you want a lounge chair, get there early.

We did our private excursion (not through carnival) to Martha Brae River rafting. Amazing experience! We took a cab to the beach and to a local market to purchase rum.

Booked an excursion to Sting Ray City through Carnival. What was supposed to take 3 hours max, took our entire time at port. Very disorganized, the whole day seemed to just be waiting on someone or something. They had us cramped like sardines in a bus to take us to a small boat which was equally small for the amount of people. The photo experience with the stingrays was mediocre. Their camera was not working so they used their phone.

We rented a scooter and drove around the beautiful island stopping at different beautiful crystal clear beaches. Great snorkeling right off the beach.

Disembarkation

Nightmare!! They asked for us to be out of our rooms by 8:30. We decided to do express checkout so we could be off the ship early. Well, we were let off till noon!
