Review summary

This itinerary is always ok. Good cruise. Our family had a very good time.

Embarkation

Used VeriFly. Still some glitches but it makes it go faster.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
2nd Vista Cruise. This trip was better than the last. Spoiled to the Breeze and Freedom.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
After a past experience of someone having a major transaction in the pool, we do not use the pool or jacuzzi anymore. Kept ourselves busy. It was nice.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Theater Shows were good. The music on Lido was very loud when the DJ played. Made it difficult to carry on conversations with friends and family. While the steel drums are nice, not all day!

Children's Programs

no kids this age

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I Wayan (waiter on Lido) was awesome! Our dining room staff super nice and friendly. We were on this ship a month ago. Service this trip far superior to the "50th Bday Bash".

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is not as flowing as the Breeze or Freedom. Beautiful but lots of weird design flaws. No bathroom in Casino. Elevators mid ship, you have to push button for each bank of elevators (not one button for all elevators)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Interior. Plenty of plugs and USB ports. Room clean, nicely decorated. No funky smell. Everything worked well. Bed was the most comfortable one we have slept on!!

Ship tip

Nothing special to tell in my opinion

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Only there to get on and off the ship.

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
The port had lots of shops available. Margaritaville was at port and this is where we spent our time. They are working on getting back to "normal". As with everywhere, slow going. Everyone we met locally were very nice. Seemed to be excited to have cruisers back in port.

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
We have been here many times (pre covid). They had only been taking tourists for about 3 weeks. Went to 7 mile beach. Sad Calico Jacks closed a while back. There were not really many options at the beach for food and drink. The beach - as always - was awesome.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We have been here many many times. Went to Mr Sancho's. There was a storm the day before so the water was murky and not as pretty as usual. But never disappointed in Sancho's. The port area is nice; lots of shops and places to eat/drink.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Facial Recognition was used. Even with my mom having BC and DL, fast to get off!
