For My husband's first cruise; I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My prayer was for him to fall in love with cruising as I have. That exactly what happened. Kendall Fire and her fun crew and the whole crew that works so hard to ensure we have a wonderful vacation made our Caribbean Adventure the first of many together.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We literally were in and out in 20 minutes. We were moving the entire time save showing our documents.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We were blown away by the variety of choices. We never did hit them all. The only disappointment was the pizza it just wasn't the same as it was before.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We had a blast on the sky ride; however, our favorite was our early morning tradition. We would go to the Market get coffee and then sit in the whirlpool on the Serenity Deck. What a way to start the day. Also, we loved the trivia...too much fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There are some amazingly talented performers onboard the Vista. We weren't disappointed in the shows.
Children's Programs
We did not have children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
ADI, HUGO, LAVINA, and JOHN MICHAEL simply made our cruise. Adi kept our room spotless and full of ice. Hugo knew what I wanted before I knew what I wanted. Lavina was everywhere on the ship not just the diningroom. She couldn't do enough. We were blessed to have them.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was clean but not as easily maneuvered as the Magic was. Still it was beautiful and clean and amazing!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size of the cabin for the two of us was great. We had plenty of room. The balcony was wonderful. Watching the sky change colors. We were on the wrong side to see the sun set, but it was still beautiful and tranquil.
Ship tip
If you are on a tight budget go to the Cucino del Capitano for lunch. You can enjoy an unforgettable meal without the surcharge.
Roatan is absolutely beautiful. I loved the animals at AJs Definitely worth the money. There will still be time to check out Fat Tuesdays and The Beach right there beside the pier. There was plenty of room and refreshments available. watersports for and extra charge. Something for everyone.
Upsetting to me, I know it's crazy, but I love seeing tablecloths in the MDR. I know Carnival only did it on elegant nights but now it looks like not even for that. Tablecloths just make the room look so much more elegant and romantic. I'm hoping other cruiselines have not done away with them. Still love cruising. The best vacation ever!
