We had a lot of fun! I took a stack of magazines to read and didn't even crack one open. Of course I could have, but I can read at home!

I am a picky eater, so I really like that Carnival has five dishes (including steak) that they offer every day in case you don't like what is on the main menu, unlike other cruise lines. Also, if you don't like an appetizer on the menu, they will give you fruit cocktail or a regular salad if you ask.

Onboard Activities

The skyride was different and fun. There was lots of fun stuff to do during the day and at night they had either a movie or party on the pool deck. There were only 2 pools accessible by all guest, no adults only on this ship. There was a separate pool for the Havana Suite guests.

The ship was very clean. I didn't like some of the ship's layout. You had to walk through the smoky casino to get from the dining room and comedy lounge area to the atrium, shops, and main lounge area. There was no way around. As a non-smoker, non-gambler, I didn't feel I should be subjected to that just because they wanted to entice me to play.

Ship tip

Don't book a room near the Imax theater (decks 6 and 7 midship) as it sounded very loud when we would pass it in the hallway or above or below any other public area.
