Review summary

Overall our first cruise was a good one. The ship was steady most of the days and we forgot we were even on the ship. Service and cleanlines were excellent. Entertainment good. A little disappointed in dining room food, but specialty restaurants were very good. Plenty to do on and off the ship. I did not like the 4 consecutive days of getting on and off islands. Exhausting!!! Wish there was a sea day in between.

Embarkation

We were a party of 4 and it took no more than 10 min to get on the ship. The process was hassle free.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We were a little disappointed in the dining room food and selection. Quality was mediocre. Elegant night was best night with choice of surf and turf. We did enjoy the specialty restaurant Farenheit 505, service and food was fantastic. Unfortunately this was an extra expense, I think about $35 per person.

Shows were good. Not great. Matt the cruise director definitely lived up to his reputation. He was the Carnival Vista!

Since this was our first cruise was not sire what to expect but the size was comfortable enough for a family of 4. I was expecting a shoe box, we were pleasantly suprised.
