Review summary

My cruise on the Carnival Vista was a great experience.  Embarkation was pretty easy and our Sail & Sign cards were delivered to our room, which was ready fairly quickly.

We had a Havana Balcony with Lanai room.  The Lanai was nice, but to me, not worth it because it did lack privacy and we hardly used it.  If I was to do this ship again, I would definitely stay in the Havana area again but just do a regular balcony room.

The first day was kind of crazy and there were lines everywhere.  After that, you did still feel as though it was a bit crowded, but not as bad.  All the food was EXCELLENT and we didn't have one bad dinner.  The only complaint I have is the buffet breakfast on deck 10.  The eggs were always cold and it lacked variety.  Other than than my favorite places to eat were the Blue Iguana taco area, Pig and Anchor, and also the Italian restaurant was amazing- great food for only $15 a person.

The Havana pool area was fabulous.  It was never crowded, we always found chairs and it was very relaxing.  The bar area could have had more choices for drinks and only once did a waiter come over to use to ask if we wanted drinks.  Other than that, I highly recommend staying in that part of the ship if you prefer a quieter, more relaxing cruise experience.

All 4 stops we had were great.  We went to Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao, and Aruba.  The tours we took were of good quality for the price.

I think the best part of our cruise was our cruise director, Mike.  He was so energetic, friendly, funny, and made the cruise A LOT of fun.  I would highly recommend going on any cruise with him as the cruise director.

Disembarkation was also very easy and we were off the ship by 8:30 am and headed to the airport.

Overall, this cruise was very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing 8 days.

Our cabin was very beautiful with the Lanai. It did lack privacy, but it was fun having a swing. The room was fairly spacious.

Your boarding pass has your folio#

You use your boarding pass to board the ship and make any purchases, before getting your sail and sign card on you mailbox slot.
