It's obvious the ship is older but it was maintained quite well. We enjoyed the staff and we found them quite friendly and personable.

Booked a tour on the ship. The tour was nice and we say some beautiful sites. As part of the tour, we went to the beach for a few hours. It was a nice beach and the water was very enjoyable. There were pelicans fishing within feet of us as we floated in the water. There was a major drawback to this tour, however, the locals on the beach selling aloe massages are way too aggressive. It was annoying to have to tell them that we didn't want a massage more than five times.

Snorkeling over the shipwreck and with the turtles was one of the best activities of the cruise.

We went to Megan Bay for the day. It was beautiful! We also wandered around the "shopping" area. This area was the least pleasing part of the day.

We booked the Shopping, Snorkeling and Beach tour from the ship. It was fabulous. St. Maarten was my favorite island and I would love to return. The island embodies what one imagens when Caribbean is mentioned.

We decided to stay out of the direct sun for a day so, we took a taxi tour. Seemed like quite a bit of driving with stops at some nice places. The downside was that at every stop the vendors were quite overwhelming.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff and quality entertainment

Cons: Funky smell in cabin hallway
