Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was superb. I tried to not eat appetizers and desserts, but they were too good to pass up! All the food at all meals was wonderful.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The dancers were excellent, as well as the comedians and magicians. As good as Broadway.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were very impressed with the friendly, and warm staff. They were just the best. No matter what you asked them, they always responded pleasantly and patiently. They even knew our names immediately.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean everywhere, sanitizing wipes as you walk out the doors, and at food counters. Ship was huge, yet everywhere we went it was clean, and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a very nice sized room with a balcony, closets, and storage space with enough room for everything we had. The only complaint was that someone was smoking in the adjacent balcony and it drifted to us.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

This was my favorite island of the whole trip. The scenic rail tour through small seaside villages, set into the mountains, with children running out to wave to you was the best. The rail car had singers who sang island songs. The afternoon tour took us through sugar cane fields, and views also from the top of the mountains. The people also were very friendly.
Don't Miss: The scenic Rail tour

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Some pretty good shopping and deals here if you're looking for inexpensive souvineers. The snorkeling and catamaran was also the most fun we had all week.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling and catamaran

Castries, St. Lucia

The island is the most beautiful one we visited with the Pitons in the distance and the mountains. But if you take an island tour, be prepared for the figure 8, up and down drive. You might get landsick, rather than seasick. And the van drives very fast around curves. We also visited the volcanic mud baths. Bring your bathing suit.
Don't Miss: Volcanic mud baths

Bridgetown, Barbados

The Harrison Cave tour also had a tour and discussion of the island. In the afternoon we had a tour and a beach stop at Magen's Bay. Again, some spectacular views.
Don't Miss: Magen's Bay

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Definitely take an island tour where you get spectacular views of all the islands from the top of the mountain.

Pros: The ports, the people, the beautiful islands, the food

Cons: Had to wait several hours before we got our luggage after check in
