Review summary
Our departure date was 8/21/10; we sailed on the Carnival Victory for the first time. My husband and I had a blast. We were very impressed with the ship and had no idea what to expect. The night life on the ship was fantastic, you cant get bore, always something to do, excellent itinerary from 7am to midnight! The dining choices were excellent, we dined four night s in the Pacific Restaurant, the service was great, and the head waitress Alexander was wonderful, very courteous and pleasant; the remaining three nights we decided to dine from the Mediterranean buffet, quicker, casual and we had more time to do other things. Before we went on this trip I had some reservations because all of the comments Ive read, some positive some negative. But it all depends on your experience and the people that you have to share your week with. Our room was cleaned up twice a day am and pm before bedtime. Actually it just didnt need it; we are usually very organized and neat at home and we kept our stateroom the same way. The crew went out of their way to please us from towels decorations to make sure we had ice at all times and room service coffee for two every morning so we can enjoy watching the ship dock every morning on the different ports of call. We can say our trip was wonderful, we met nice people, see the beauty of different islands..a very nice experience and yes, we will consider another cruise with Carnival in the near future.Ship experiences
